ryanselvy: Jesus Christ people! IT IS MUSIC! Everyone is constantly OBSESSED with being better or above the social norm. Music makes it to the top of the charts because the public thinks it high quality in their tastes. Just because you don’t necessarily like the common style of popular music doesn’t give you any right to “look down on our generation” or  ”give up on music.” Not everything is about you and your musical tastes. We all have different opinions on what we like to hear and the charts just represent what a large majority likes, not absolutely everyone. And you sitting on your computer protesting the public’s view doesn’t change anything! Just support your music and enjoy what you find. Don’t focus on Katy Perry or B.o.B. if you don’t want to. No one is making you check iTunes top charts or listen to the radio. You have the power to not pay attention to stuff you don’t want to listen to. Please do the public the favor and just STFU and GTFO. Thank you.
